JOB OBJECTIVES
Manage the Document Management Group of the Asset Information Management Section,
Manage NLNG Documents to make them consistent, complete and accurately reflecting the NLNG facilities at Bonny Island in line with the minimum requirements of the SAIM Module in Gas-GAME.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the management of the facility information quality aspects within the Company, except for their technical adequacy and accuracy,
- Responsible for adequate procedures for documentation control,
- Acts as Focal Point for Engineering Information with veto rights,
- Responsible for the Coordination of requirements specifications and deliverables verification,
- Documented definitions shall be developed and maintained for:
- Types of documents: Key documents, Other documents,
- Numbering of documents,
- Document lists,
- Preparation of documents – CAD Procedure,
- Receiving/Recording/Filing of documents – Document Control Procedure,
- Use of document: Parties involved, Implementation of changes (PDR/SEC/etc.), Response times, Concurrent Engineering, Printing on demand, Publication and distribution (Software (like DEP, Hard copies),
- Maintenance of documents – As Built procedure,
- Recording and storage of documents: PACER-D, INTools, Other,
- Archiving of documents – Archiving procedure: What? Where? Format (electronic/hard copy/both)? Index / location plan, How long? –Document retention periods (STARDOM),
- Document disposal – Document disposal procedure (STARDOM),
- Contributes to developing and maintaining Planning for Document Management
Short term (2 years):
- Develop and implement Document Management of the SAIM module up to level 6 (minimum requirement of Gas-GAME),
Long term:
- Develop and implement Document Management of the SAIM module up to level 9,
- Implement contract strategies for Engineering Service Contract(s) in line with work volumes in Document Management to cater for elimination of backlog in document upgrades and “As Built” within 2 years from 01/01/10,
- Provide input to scope definition/description of Document Management part in any Engineering Service Contract,
- Ensure that Engineering Service Contract deliverables are verified against requirement before NLNG acceptance,
- Liaise with STARDOM.

Education:
- Engineering graduate or equivalent technical degree is preferred, but other extensive project experience may be suitable,
- The position requires knowledge of information management, associated technology and the underlying business drivers. Must exhibit pro-activeness with a high degree of self-motivation.
Experience
- Ten to fifteen years post-graduate experience in oil & gas industry of which at least five years in a similar position,
- Has knowledge of LNG business, library management, document management, planning, budgeting and change management.

- Start Date: Per Direct
- Contract: Contract for minimum of two years, renewable.
- Accommodation: Provided by NLNG,
- Transportation: Provided by company
- Compensation: Actual compensation will depend on extent of experience in the specific field of activity,
- Working hours: 10 hours/day, 5½ days/week,
- Rotation scenario: 91/17, return tickets to home country provided by company.
