| Client operates on- and offshore installations of oil and gas production and storage in the Netherlands. As a 100% subsidiary of ADNEC , an independent water and power company with the state of Abu Dhabi being its major shareholder, client together with its subsidiary company in the United Kingdom, acts as a vehicle for growth in Europe. Future activities in the Netherlands will be focused on E&P upstream and midstream. Currently, client and its partners are in the initial project phase of rebuilding the almost depleted Bergermeer gas field into an underground storage facility. Client has a strong ambition to grow the asset base in the Netherlands by developing new fields and actively acquiring additional assets. |

The Senior Geologist will work in a subsurface team together with a Geophysicist and Reservoir engineer. The main task will be to independently prepare geological recommendations for projects on both the operated and non operated assets. The Geologist is responsible for log, and petro physical evaluation and selection of logging requirements for drilling The Geologist will upgrade and maintain related databases and reports to the Subsurface Lead
Roles and Responsibilities
- Geological evaluations
- Log evaluations
- Petrophysical evaluations
- Petroleum systems evaluations (source maturity and migration fairways)
Reporting
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of related reporting
- Provide reporting on improvements and methods for initiating change on future projects
HSE
- Adhere to the applicable safety regulations for the location of office
- Execute work in accordance with the Corporate Critical Safe Work Standards
- During transport or travel adhere to the legal or transporter’s regulations including those of the helicopter transporter and adhere to the Client defensive driving rules as well as advice regarding road transport

Business Qualifications
- Degree in Geology at BScIMSc level
- Knowledge of the Dutch subsurface specifically
Skills and Competencies
- Minimum of 10 years experience
- Good communications skills
- Team player
- Experienced in both Log and Petro physical analysis
